- satin ribbon 2.5 cm wide;
- scissors;
- pencil;
- ruler;
- lighter;
- beads;
- clothespin for curtains.
First of all, we cut the tape into segments, 6 cm long. I say right away, it took a lot!
Now we carefully follow and catch the thought. The segment is folded in half along the length, inside out and cut the corner with a fold, something like this.
I trimmed the upper left corner. The edges are neatly fastened with a lighter or a soldering iron. We get such a corner.
Let's take the opposite side. We connect its ends so that a ring is obtained. Fold in with the front side inwards. We fix it all with fire.
Thus, you need to redo all the segments.
When all the preparatory work is completed, we begin to collect the flower. As a basis, you can use cardboard. When choosing the diameter of the base, do not forget that it will eventually increase by at least 10cm due to the petals.
Having previously drawn the circles, we begin to stick the petals to the base. It’s better to start with a cross, and then fill in the blanks.
So, gradually glue the entire base.
The middle of the flower also assigns a role. To do this, took a piece of tape 20cm, scissors and a lighter.
Carefully with scissors she made cuts along the entire length to about the middle, and slightly singed the ends.
Next, we drip a drop of glue onto the ball from the pin and apply it to the whole edge of the tape from the wrong side.
Thus, gradually adding glue, twist the entire tape. Immediately after twisting, I carefully pulled out the needle and glued the resulting middle in the center of the flower.
Now, abundantly fill the top of the center with glue and glue the beads on it. In this case, such a center of the ribbon is not a decoration, but a stand for beads. They are almost on the same level with the petals and look more harmonious.
The flower itself is collected, now it's time to think about the clamp. In this case, you can use any device that can assemble your curtains. Most often they use hairpins, but I was lucky because I had one special clothespin free. I glued it to the back of the flower with glue.
And so now my curtain with such a stunning flower looks like.
