The tape ended, there was an empty solid bobbin, do not throw it away! It can make a wonderful casket for storing jewelry or other important trifles. For example, you can create such a bright striped box!

To make such a box you will need:
- foamiran (plastic suede) green.
- scissors.
- satin ribbon of bright yellow color.
- the cabochon.
- braid with carved sides.
- rhinestones.
- lighter.
- a small piece of cardboard.
- ruler.
- a pencil.
- stationery knife.
- polymer glue.
Creating a casket.
On the outside of the bobbin, you need to remove all the remains of adhesive tape, leaving only a cardboard base.

Stepping back from the edge of 1.3 cm, it is necessary to make a cut to obtain two parts of different sizes. It is important to ensure that the bobbin is cut evenly and does not bend, so that the casket is smooth and beautiful. The casket will be made of the greater part, the lid will be made of the second.

The lid on the box should hold tight, and not staggering, so you need to make a groove for it. A rectangular piece with 23.5x5 cm sides should be cut from a piece of thick cardboard.

A strip of cardboard must be connected in a ring and completely pasted with a brightly colored ribbon. Particular attention must be paid to the inside of the rounded part, since it will be inside the box.

Lubricate the prepared part with plenty of polymer glue on its outer side, not reaching the top edge of 1.5 cm. After applying the glue, the workpiece must be folded into the frame of the future casket, prepared from a reel from tape. The part glued with tape will protrude by 1 cm, this is necessary for the lid of the box, its tight closing.

Now you should make a bottom for the lid and casket. To do this, from thick cardboard, it is necessary to prepare two large circles, with a diameter of 8 cm.

Each part on one side needs to be glued with a bright tape, having previously lubricated the surface with an even layer of glue.

Now, two circles with a diameter of 11 cm should be cut out of green foamiran. The resulting circles should be glued to the blanks for the bottoms of the casket. The cardboard parts should be positioned with the ribbon side up.

Then, along the protruding edges of the foamiran, it is necessary to create a lot of cuts, reaching the cardboard parts, to ensure the convenience of further processing.

The frame for the box cover on the inside should be glued with satin ribbon using polymer glue. Then, the blank for the lid must be glued to one of the bottoms, gently lubricating the edges of the cardboard circle with glue.

The casket frame also needs to be attached to the prepared bottom, immediately making cuts on the free allowance of green suede.

Further, all foamiran allowances must be glued to the sides of the box and the lid for it. Bending should be done carefully, avoiding creases and creating sharp corners.

Now, a stripe measuring 4.5 x 24 cm should be cut out of foamiran. The resulting workpiece must be attached along the entire side of the box, lubricating it with polymer glue in advance. During attachment, it is important to ensure that no bubbles and voids remain under the material, in order to avoid deformation of the fabric after the glue dries.

Then a thin strip of foamiran will be required to decorate the lid. Its dimensions should be 1.5x24 cm. It is necessary to fix it with polymer glue applied evenly on the outer side surface of the lid.

It turns out here is such a box, it remains to decorate it with prepared rhinestones, half beads and braid.

On the side of the lid you should attach silver lace trim. Its width should not exceed 2 cm, so that it does not protrude much beyond the edges of the lid.

From the same braid you need to make a strip on the bottom of the box to connect the composition with the lid.

Now you need to make a decoration for the box cover. As a basis, you will need a square from foamiran, not less than 4x4 cm in size.

Glue the cabochon in the center of the base.

Around the cabochon should be attached a row of half beads, tightly applying to each other.

In the second row, the half beads should be attached to the gaps in the details of the first circle.

Excess material must be cut off, leaving only a flower of half beads. A slice of foamiran should be lightly burned to give a finished look.

This flower needs to be attached in the center of the cap.

It remains to supplement the surface of the lid with several rhinestones, forming a circle from them.

Now you should supplement the side of the box with the same rhinestones, attaching them at an equal distance.

It turns out here is such a bright box of simple materials and an empty bobbin of tape.

The box is ready, you can put any trifle into it!
