Well, let's see what happens in the end. So, to make a home-made electric saw you will need: a grinder, a hand saw, a bearing, two metal plates, a round pipe.
From a piece of a round pipe and a bolt with nuts, the author makes a clamp, which is then put on the grinder.
The main stages of work
The author removes the handle from the hacksaw, and then drills a hole for the bearing in the canvas.
Then the master cuts two identical pieces of the metal plate, makes a marking and drills holes in them. It is convenient to use a stepped drill for this.
A home-made clamp from a round pipe will need to be welded to one of the metal plates.
We put a bearing on the shaft of the gearbox of the grinder. Between the inner race of the bearing and the shaft, the master inserts a piece of the stud. The result was a kind of eccentric. We put the washer on top and fix it with a nut.
The hole in the canvas for the bearing must be made in the form of an ellipse.
Then, four mounting holes need to be drilled into the blade and two plates. Fasten all the elements to the grinder.
