In this review, the author shows how to make a do-it-yourself bench grinder with an electric drill drive.
As the basis for the grinding machine, you can use a piece of plywood with a thickness of 20 mm. First of all, it will be necessary to make a mount for the drill.
For this, the author uses two bars. They need to be laid parallel to each other, leaving a small gap. Then, using a crown on a tree, drill a hole.
The main stages of work
We fasten the wooden bars to the base, having pre-drilled holes in it and inserting two long bolts.
After that, we install an electric drill with a Velcro nozzle for the grinding wheel.
At the next stage, the author cuts two pieces of a building corner, drills holes in it and makes grooves. After that, screw them to the base.
Then from plywood it will be necessary to make a working table for the blanks. Two holes need to be drilled on each side so that bolts can be inserted with which the table will be attached to the rails.
