To carry out repair or maintenance work on a motorcycle, it must first be securely fixed; for this, the author proposes to use a simple device. You can make it yourself from pieces of metal.
For the manufacture of home-made products, pieces of a metal strip, a construction corner, two long bolts with nuts and a pair of bearings (or rather, internal clips from them) will be required.
The first step is to cut off 4 segments of the strip: two short and two long. On one side, we cut off all four blanks with a grinder at an angle of 45 degrees. After that, they must be welded together. Then welds need to be cleaned with angle grinders.
The main stages of work
At the next stage, we cut a piece of the building corner that is suitable for the length. In one of the blanks, the author drills holes for bolts and welds nuts. After that, both blanks from the strip will need to be welded to a corner piece parallel to each other.
Then we cut off two more pieces of the strip, and weld the third workpiece. We make a marking and weld two internal bearings from the bearings. In the end, it remains only to polish everything, if desired - you can paint.
