When grinding wood blanks, a lot of dust is formed. Therefore, if you use the grinder in the home workshop or in the garage (especially in winter, when it is not possible to open windows and doors), then it will not be out of place to make a good hood for it.

Of the basic materials for the manufacture of this homemade product you will need a metal "dome" from the kitchen hood, as well as pieces of the building corner and a piece of steel strip.

The first step is to cut off two pieces of the strip and two pieces of the corner, and then weld together. And in the end you get a mount for the "dome" of the kitchen hood.

The main stages of work

At the next stage, the fastener must be attached to the grinder bed (by welding or onto bolts), and then the hood of the hood is screwed to it. First, it will be necessary to drill holes for the bolts.

Well, then everything is very simple - you need to attach a corrugated pipe to the “hood” of the hood, the other end of which joins the cyclone.

The result is a compact hood, which, if necessary, can be quickly removed and used for another machine, which is very convenient.
