In this review, the author shows how easy and simple it is to make a grate for a fire with your own hands. The main material is a profile pipe. From the tool you will need a grinder and a welding machine.
Why do we need a grill for a fire? Everything is very simple - for convenience. On such a home-made grill, you can put metal pots, a frying pan or a kettle to cook food or boil water in a campaign and in the country.
First, it will be necessary to cut the workpieces from a square profile pipe (size - 15 * 15 mm). After that, it is necessary to weld a rectangular lattice.
The main stages of work
Next, you need six short sections of the profile, which will need to be welded inside the resulting frame. As a result, the main part of the homemade product will be obtained.
Then from the sections of the profile it is necessary to make two legs with shelves, on which the grate itself will rest. There is nothing complicated here, the main thing is to maintain a right angle so that there are no distortions.
At the last stage of work, it remains only to clean the legs and grill with a grinder and paint. The ends of the legs, the author decided to close the plugs. This is necessary so that the earth does not clog inside the profile pipe.
