Self-creation of home decor items is a fascinating and creative process. And in this review we offer you the idea of how to make an original industrial-style wall lamp for a private house or apartment.
The main stages of work
First of all, it is necessary to cut blanks from a metal corner - a total of 12 blanks will be required. Then, from them, the master welds two frames of a rhomboid (slightly elongated) shape. But first, the edges on the corners need to be cut at an angle.
At the next stage, the master glues two shields from wooden blocks. Then he saws out of them two blanks in the form of metal frames. Two frames of steel strip are additionally welded to the frames themselves. They intersect in the center.
Then, around the perimeter of the frames, you need to drill mounting holes, and make brackets for installing the sconce lamp.
At the last stage of work, the master installs a pulley in the bracket, and then attaches the electric cord with a bulb holder. And at the end is mounted a homemade lampshade, welded from round bars.
