Very often, scratches on the paintwork of a car body are removed by deep polishing. However, if the base is damaged or even the soil, then you can use a simple "garage" method.
Using a syringe and a drill, you can remove a deep scratch on the car body without local or complete painting.
First of all, using sandpaper and a degreaser, you need to smooth out the sharp corners of the scratched varnish a little.
Please note that water cannot be used at this stage, since a scratch can occur before the metal, and water can cause an oxidative reaction.
The main stages of work
After pre-processing the paintwork, you can proceed to the next stages of work. And for this you need to choose the right shade of paint.
Further, to "resuscitate" the damaged surface, you will need a medical syringe. The tip of the syringe needs to be cut off or drained at an angle of 45 degrees (or so).
At the next stage, it will be necessary to carefully fill the scratch with paint so that there are no gaps. One layer of paint is usually not enough, so you will need to additionally apply another one so that the soil appears through.
After drying, excess paint must be removed from the surface - using sandpaper and a small block. Before polishing, the painted area on the body must be degreased.
Then, in a new syringe, you need to collect acrylic varnish and apply in one layer, so that there are no gaps, and leave to dry.
Next, you need to glue the contour of the scratch with masking tape, and with the help of an emery cloth, remove the main height of the applied layer of acrylic varnish.
Insert a special medium hard disk into the drill, and polish the entire scratch with polishing paste.
