It is advisable to collect fruits from trees before they are fully ripe and begin to fall to the ground. That's just not always possible to reach the desired branch (even from the stepladder) and carefully pick the fruit.
In this case, you will need a simple device made from improvised materials, with which you can collect the entire crop quickly and without much effort. For the manufacture of this homemade product you will need a plastic pipe of medium diameter and some other "little things" that are always at hand.
Manufacturing process
From a plastic pipe, you need to cut off with a grinder or a hand hacksaw a length of about 12-15 cm, in which then we cut a hole in the shape of a drop (the contours can be drawn by hand). Next, using an electric drill, we drill through holes on both sides of the pipe.
In the lower part of the steel wire blank, it will be necessary to make a trellised bottom so that the fruits collected from the tree do not fall to the ground. After that, using a soft wire (copper or aluminum), the plastic pipe must be fixed to the edge of the metal pipe of a suitable length - this will be the handle of this device.
Now the tool for collecting fruit from trees is ready to use. If necessary, the handle can be extended or used instead of the usual metal pipe telescopic, which allows you to adjust the length of the handle. This way you can reach any branch without using a stepladder. It is very convenient and most importantly safe.
