Work stages
1. Any topiary starts from the base. Sometimes it’s a foam ball, but you can use what is always at hand. You need to take an old unnecessary newspaper and crumple it, if the ball is not large enough, then add more newspapers. Wrap with a harsh thread, tie the end. The trunk is also made of newspapers, curled into a tight tube, sealed, allowed to dry.
2. Paste the finished tube of the future barrel with a crumpled napkin, spreading it well with glue. Dry, paint with black watercolor, diluted with PVA, dry again, cover with bronze eyeshadow, fix with hairspray.
3. Wrap the ball of the future crown with crepe paper, tie it with a ribbon at the bottom, glue it on top and fix the edges with pins, picking them all together.
4. Now you need to prepare the flowers that will decorate the tree. From crepe paper, cut strips no more than 15 cm long. The width is determined by the marks printed on the paper. If there are no marks, then it will turn out approximately 5 cm. Roll each into a roll, bend the edges outward, round off a sharp corner. Turn over, put glue on the base, allow to dry for several hours.
5. Gather all the flowers together by gluing them to the tree blank. Put a drop of glue on the base and fasten to a newspaper ball using pins with decorative pearl heads. The pins can then be left out. The tree itself should be installed in a decorative candle, from which the middle must be removed and the remaining space filled with the same paraffin, it becomes soft and soft in the hands. Pour on top small shells, or decorative colored soil.
Such a pretty tree made of improvised materials will not only decorate the interior with its presence, but also will smell good.
