In this review, the author, using the stabilizer bar from the car and the corner pieces, makes a mount for the grinder.
Thanks to this device, you can fix the angle grinder in the right position in a bench vise. It is convenient when performing grinding work.
First of all, we clamp the stabilizer bar in a vice and cut off the excess part with a grinder.
After that, the master cuts off a piece of the corner and welds the rest of the stabilizer bar to it.
The main stages of work
At the next stage, the author cuts three pieces of the corner, then welds them together. You should get a U-shaped part.
After that, in all three corners, it is necessary to drill holes: lateral - for fastening to the grinder, in the center - for the stabilizer bar.
We insert the stabilizer strut into the hole and fix it with a nut. Then the resulting homemade product will only have to be cleaned and painted.
Now we fasten the mount to the housing of the angle grinder and install in a bench vise.
