In this review, the author shares the idea of how to make a simple tool for working in the country. For this, fastenings for auxiliary bicycle wheels, a piece of a metal strip and a holder are used.
With this tool, you can loosen the ground between the beds, as well as remove weeds and grass in the summer cottage.
The first step is to remove the wheels from the mounts. Fasteners themselves need to be cleaned from old paint, sanded and painted again.
Next, cut off the holder of the desired length or you can take the old holder from a shovel or rake. We make a marking and drill a through hole. Then we fasten the fasteners with the help of studs and nuts.
The main stages of work
At the next stage, a “nozzle” on the tool should be made from a piece of metal strip. It is a letter "P" with curved legs.
Next, we mark with a marker places for drilling holes in the "nozzle", drill holes and fasten it to the mounts on the holder with bolts.
Now it remains only to sharpen the cutting edge on the "nozzle" itself, and the home-made tool for giving is fully ready for work.
