From a metal pipe and the most ordinary boards, you can make an original cart for transporting firewood. However, it can also be used for other purposes - in a private house or in a summer cottage, there will always be work for such a cart.
First of all, the author using sandpaper cleans thick-walled steel pipes from dirt and rust. Then he cuts the necessary pieces along the length of the grinder and bends them at an angle of 90 °. For this, the master uses a homemade pipe bending machine.
Next, the pipes are prepared (cutting the saddle) and their subsequent welding. It turned out the frame of the future trolley. In the place where the wheels will be installed, the master drills through holes on the drilling machine. Then it welds a jumper from a pipe of the same diameter.
The main stages of work
A metal rod with a diameter of 16 mm is inserted into the welded bottom jumper. Wheels are mounted on it from two sides. Then the master bends another pipe and welds to the bottom of the frame. This will be the support for the trolley.
The metal frame is treated with an alkyd anticorrosion primer, then painted. At the last stage of the work, the master makes “cladding” for the frame from the boards and fixes it on special fasteners welded along the contour of the frame.
The author also decided that the wheels of the cart should also be decorated with wooden "caps". The result was a rather practical and convenient trolley for home and garden, which, moreover, is also very original in its design.
