Do you think that with the help of a gas trimmer you can only mow grass on lawns and “mow” undersized shrubs in a summer cottage or house building? And no! It turns out that this unit also copes with carpet cleaning.
Of course, for this you will have to make a special nozzle to clean the carpets. As a basis for homemade work, a standard cutting disc with three blades is quite suitable.
In addition to the cutting disc itself, you will also need three wooden brushes with hard bristles. First of all, you need to mark the three central center lines on the cutting disc for the trimmer - they will have brushes on them.
The main stages of work
After marking the lines, mark and drill holes for the bolts with which the brushes will be attached. In total, six through holes must be made - two on each blade of the cutting blade for a gas trimmer.
In the next step, drill holes in the brushes themselves. After that, we fasten them to the blades of the disk using bolts with nuts. In this case, it is advisable to use bolts with a diameter of at least 8-10 mm.
Then we install a homemade cleaning "nozzle" on the trimmer, and you can begin to clean the carpet. As the saying goes: "Laziness is the engine of progress." Perhaps someone will like such an idea so much that he decides to bring it to life.
