Putting decorative gypsum tiles beautifully under a stone on a wall is not at all difficult. The main thing is to comply with the installation technology and not to rush anywhere. Please note that it is best to use acrylic adhesive for laying gypsum tiles.
Before laying the stone on the wall, it must be primed. Moreover, so that the tile beautifully “lies” on the corners of the wall, first we lay out the “masonry” on the floor so that the edges have the same distance.
First of all, using a water or laser level, we beat off a horizontal line along which gypsum tile will be laid in the future. And we begin to glue it from top to bottom, but you can bottom-up, it is both more convenient and familiar to someone.
Features of laying gypsum tiles
Embroider the seams between the tiles immediately with a small spatula. It is imperative that the tiles and glue be the same color (well, or as similar as possible in color). Each new row is additionally “insured” with self-tapping screws so that the tile does not slip.
And in this way we put gypsum decorative tiles to the bottom of the wall. When detecting small gaps and cracks in the seams, they can be easily masked. To do this, use a glue gun, which we fill with acrylic mounting glue.
