Homemade feather on wood

There are times when a tool has to be manufactured independently for one reason or another. Cutting nozzles on wood is often easier to do than for metal, but creating a pen requires some precision.

For crafts, you need a piece of round timber, preferably not crude metal and a small steel plate. To connect the plate to the guide at the end of the round log you need to make a cut, insert it into it and scald it.

Sharpening the plate is carried out in the same way as on the factory tool, this can be done using an angle grinder.
